A great composer and his angelic singer: a story of crossed destinies. Marc’Antonio Orrigoni, one of the most famous castrati of his generation, rediscovered through an imaginary songbook that collects the arias composed for him by Alessandro Stradella. An incredible journey that will excite you as the hidden pages of the golden age of the Italian seventeenth century will be rediscovered.
Sweetness for sweetness, Silvia Frigato is the ideal interpreter for this repertoire not so much for the absolute stylistic relevance, but for the luminous timbre and phrasing that knows no roughness. The concert will be conducted by Andrea De Carlo and accompanied by the Ensemble Mare Nostrum, interpreters of excellence on this repertoire.
