Description
A versatile soloist and refined artist, celebrated lyric soprano Carmela Remigio pays tribute to the Monteverdi Festival with a recital dedicated to the seventeenth century, accompanied by the recently formed ensemble Karalis Antiqua under the direction of Federico Fiorio, who was already a guest at the 2023 Festival.
A student of the great Cremonese baritone Aldo Protti, she has built a remarkable career alongside operatic legends from Claudio Abbado to Luciano Pavarotti, while never losing touch with the refined allure of Baroque music.
