Description
After nine years of absence from the Ponchielli Theatre’s stage comes back the Orchestra della Svizzera Italiana, conducted by Michele Mariotti, an exceptional conductor, with a program featuring the young yet already acclaimed German cellist Raphaela Gromes. Michele Mariotti, currently Musical Director of Opera of Roma and a frequent presence in the most illustrious world theatres, will guide us through a program that moves backwards in time—from the early 20th century with the Poème for Cello and Orchestra to the heart of the Romantic period, passing through the French Classicism of the late 19th century.
