It is astonishing how seven notes, if combined, can create millions of sounds, melodies and harmonies, making an enjoyable, touching and joyful language.

Therefore the new 2024 Music Season will be a HIGH VOLUME Season and will take us through a fantastic journey into many genres and artists.

Eight unmissable concerts will take place from January to April 2024.

Four great orchestras such as the Mahler Chamber Orchestra with the worldly famous pianist Yuja Wang, and the Orchestra della Toscana with the young and talented pianist Dmitry Masleev, directed by Andrea Battistoni.
This season will give us an amazing chance to listen also to the young and talented musicians of Oxford University Orchestra and the Orchestra da Camera di Mantova, who will end the Season coming back at the Ponchielli Theatre after 5 years. This orchestra will play with the virtuoso violinist Kristóf Baráti.

The Season won’t lack internationally known soloists such as Bomsori, accompanied by the pianist Thomas Hoppe, and Mario Brunello who will play a unique kind of cello called “piccolo”, together with Giuliano Carmignola, one of the most famous interpreters of the baroque violin repertoire with the famous ensemble of I Solisti Aquilani.

The High volume music is aimed also at unusual proposals such as the one performed by Duccio Ceccanti (violin), Anna Serova (viola) and Vittorio Ceccanti (cello), who will put together old and new rock legends, such as Beethoven, Rolling Stones, Queen, Led Zeppelin and Metallica.

For their 30th career anniversary, the band Mnozil Brass will play at the Ponchielli Theatre for the first time ever! A unique way to celebrate not just their history but also their well-known music.

Music makes us travel and involves us in whichever genre we prefer, but most importantly lets us get carried away from its energy and its HIGH VOLUME!
