Description
Mario Brunello has been playing for several years, other than the “modern” cello, also a smaller size instrument, the violoncello piccolo, which fell out of favour and whose tuning is an octave under the violin one.
To show the resemblance between the two instruments of the string family, Brunello will duet with Giuliano Carmignola, known as one of the best interpreters of baroque repertoire. Carmignola and Brunello will be accompanied by strings and basso continuo of the ensemble I Solisti Aquilani in a repertoire dedicated to Bach, father and son.
