Orfeo is beyond time, from Ovid’s Metamorphoses (Books X and XI) to Rainer Maria Rilke’s poems (Orpheus. Eurydice. Hermes and Sonnets to Orpheus), intertwined in Valter Malosti’s original dramaturgy and staged with the elegant gestures of the coreographer and dancer Michela Lucenti. Monteverdi’s fragments resound in the music commissioned for the occasion to Silvia Colasanti and performed by the excellent ensemble Sentieri Selvaggi.
