The young Japanese fortepiano player, winner of many international competitions (above all Musica Antiqua Bruges 2016), plays an anthology of preludes, fugues, arias and variations, concertos and sonatas by the Bach family, Johann Sebastian being ‘only’ the gemstone. His many children, born from different marriages, were excellent musicians and were appointed to important positions at court; above all, during the late 18th century, they grasped the new cultural mood of modern times.
