Description
Maria Stuarda, XIX masterpiece of Friedrich Schiller, narrates the political fight between the catholic Scotland monarch Mary Stuart, who rules over Scotland, and Elisabeth I, the protestant heir to the throne, played by two “queens” of the Italian theatre: Laura Marinoni ed Elisabetta Pozzi.
The director David Livermore, together with the splendid costumes of Dolce & Gabbana and the original live soundtrack of the singer Giua and her electric guitar, succeed in setting, into an abstract scene, the war for the English crown.
