Description

The most loved by the Italian public and beyond TV series become a musical with the original songs from the series. The musical directed by Alessandro Siani will have among its protagonists some of the most beloved faces of the TV series.

Among these, Maria Esposito, known as Rosa Ricci, the revelation character and one of the undisputed protagonists of the series. The story is set in the Nisida juvenile prison, where the life of a group of boys inside a penitentiary institution is narrated in a profound and raw way: behind the bars, looking beyond, a free and immense sea appears, a dream, a mirage. Detention is even harder when looking at the “Mare fuori” (outside sea).

The theatrical version will address important themes: the reasons that brought the boys to prison, the family destroyed in its primordial values, the fight between gangs, the mocking delinquency that drags a non-“adult” person to make certain choices. A reflection on a “burnt youth”, the daughter of a bitter and unacceptable destiny.
