For the celebrations of the 450th anniversary of Monteverdi’s birth, the Monteverdi Festival opens with an elegant production of Orfeo, the first opera ever composed and an absolute masterpiece. The made in Italy project involves Accademia Bizantina, conducted by the charismatic Ottavio Dantone, the Choir Costanzo Porta and the creative team of the talented Andrea Cigni.
