Leonardo Lidi imposed himself on the theatrical scene with powerful and original versions of great classical authors. With Il Gabbiano, for the first time, directed a Čechov piece, a drama about the lost illusion that is the mirror of an fin de siècle existential discomfort, suspended through art and life.

And Konstantin could mumble about his unhappiness and on how he’s not corresponded with the young Nina. There it is, the damned love, alibi and destructor in a world in which cruelty always leaves spaces for loneliness. Couldn’t be able to fly anymore because killed by a non-corresponding love.
