Description
The love story between Elvira and Arturo in Vincenzo Bellini’s “I Puritani” is the fourth title on the program, which also closes 2025. Thwarted by political factions and misunderstandings, the two protagonists find themselves dealing with the English Revolution that forms the backdrop to the story. Elvira, believed dead, goes into hiding to escape her enemies, while Arturo fights to be reunited with her.
Conductor Sieva Borzak and director Daniele Menghini will offer an intense and captivating performance in a production that celebrates the art of bel canto.
