Description
For the first time on the Ponchielli Theatre of Cremona’s stage, the German violinist Frank Peter Zimmerman will perform accompanied by the Ukrainian pianist Dmytro Choni. The internationally renowned musician is considered one of the most virtuosic living violinists, and is celebrated for his musicality, his brilliance and sought and requested by the main orchestras in the world for over three decades. The artists will present a program of great variety, through three musical eras (early and late 19th century and early 20th century) and four great composers to showcase all their interpretative talents.
Frank Peter Zimmermann plays the Antonio Stradivari violin “Lady Inchiquin” from 1711, generously provided by the Kunstsammlung Nordrhein-Westfalen, Düsseldorf, “Kunst im Landesbesitz”.
