Description

The third and final opera buffa written to a libretto by Lorenzo da Ponte, *Così fan tutte, ossia La scuola degli amanti*, is a dramma giocoso in two acts composed by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. At the heart of the story is the theme of love: on one hand, the fleeting and superficial nature of female love, tested by a classic role reversal, and on the other, male love, capable of displaying forgiveness, though merely as an exhibition, in accordance with the social conventions of the time. The Teatro Ponchielli in Cremona will lead the production of this Mozartian work, featuring dramaturgy by Mario Martone, which will be revived by Raffaele Di Florio. On the podium will be Federico Maria Sardelli, a versatile artist and conductor renowned for his expertise in the 18th-century repertoire.
