From October 27 to November 1, 2025, Crema and Cremona will once again transform into the perfect stage for young talents in the Baroque repertoire who want to make the big leap in their career. If you’re a singer between 18 and 35 years old of all nationalities and vocal registers, this is the opportunity you’ve been waiting for!
CMC is a new international baroque singing competition named after Francesco Cavalli from Crema and Claudio Monteverdi from Cremona, the fathers of baroque opera, made possible by Associazione Bottesini of Crema and the Teatro Ponchielli of Cremona.
The Competition will enhance a unique artistic and musical heritage, creating a synergic bridge between territories, traditions, and institutions.
The project is part of a true renaissance of Baroque opera, stimulating and encouraging young artists to specialise in this genre.
