On Friday, September 12th, at 8:30 pm, pianist Maurizio Baglini will perform Keith Jarrett\u2019s The K\u00f6ln Concert<\/strong> \u2013 a rarely heard live masterpiece \u2013 in the newly renovated Teatro Ponchielli in Cremona, fifty years after its legendary premiere<\/strong>. On January 24, 1975, in Cologne, Jarrett found himself faced with a battered piano and extreme exhaustion, ready to cancel the scheduled concert. He decided at the last minute to play anyway, and from that improvisation was born the best-selling solo piano jazz album of all time<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
