Yesterday was held, at the Italian Senate<\/strong>, the press conference of presentation of draft law \u201cModifiche all\u2019articolo 2 della legge 20 dicembre 2012, n. 238, per la realizzazione del Festival Claudio Monteverdi di Cremona<\/em>\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The submission of the proposal has the purpose to insert the Monteverdi Festival<\/strong>, of which the 40th edition recurs this year, in the national relevant music events<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A project that sees together all the politics in favour of the culture, in the name of who revolutionized music and gave birth to the Opera.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thanks to the Italian Senators Simona Malpezzi<\/strong>, Carlo Cottarelli<\/strong>, and Renato Ancorotti<\/strong>, signatories of the bill, that embraced and sustained the initiative, acknowledging the importance of Holy Claudio and his production as Italian and world heritage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the Conference participated, as well as the Senators, Cremona Major, Gianluca Galimberti<\/strong>, Culture councillor, Luca Burgazzi <\/strong>and A. Ponchielli Theatre General Director, Andrea Cigni<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A first, but very important, step to confer to Claudio Monteverdi, and to the Festival named after him, the importance and the relevance that the Father of the Opera deserves.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
